Trusting His Word as guidance for our actions will take us far. On those occasions we knowingly followed our flesh and things got messy, we need to repent and get back on our feet. And in those times we simply missed the leading of the Lord, we can rest in knowing that He sees our hearts, and always knows when our intentions are pure.

Learning from The Little Ones
January 9, 2021
There is so much to be learned from the lives of little ones. A baby’s first introduction into the world is one filled with a dependence on those around them that can take care of their every need. As they grow and develop some independence, it will still be many years that we see beautiful character traits that we yearn to have for ourselves. When we look back on our own lives, we might remember the times when we carried the same traits. One trait in particular is pure and genuine love for others.

The Changing Seasons in Life
December 26, 2020
As human beings, we do our best to live comfortably. We enjoy a life of ease. We wouldn’t choose to walk through any difficult period of time if the choice was ours. November 28, 2020
When His ideas of beauty are applied to our lives, we are meant to keep them throughout our lives. God’s desires are not trendy, and his methods and techniques for beauty have not changed. His ways work, and they last. There are none so beautiful as those who pursue beauty according to the Word of God.

Encouragement
September 30, 2020
The far-reaching effects of encouragement have no limits. As for verbal support, words carry an enormous amount of power. As Proverbs 18:21 tells us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.” With this knowledge, let us weigh our words carefully, and administer them wisely. Someone in our friendship circles may become the next doctor with the cure for cancer. Or a friend could be lifted from the deep despair of depression. Both can be from our own words of encouragement. “I believe in you!” or “I know you can do it!” may be the very words someone needs to hear to re-direct their future, changing what is to come from what would have been.
